North Kingstown Municipal Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. the course shares a common boundary with Quonset Naval Air Station
Its classic layout was designed by Walter Johnson, an associate of Donald Ross. The course opened for play in 1946.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,161 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,227 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 559 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 18, a par-3 that plays to 158 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 411-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 18, a 158 yard par-3.
North Kingstown Municipal has densely lined fairways. Bay-swept winds add an unseen challenge to the course.

This course is a Muni course and they lost their food service. The upcoming year "MIGHT" bring in a new food service. If not then this course will not be a choice for the weekend crowd. The course has a challenging layout, especially the back nine. The 3 years young watering system is paying off, resulting in great fairways, greens and rough. Some areas around bunkers and some bunkers need to be improved. Staff is friendly, helpful and very personable.
